Happy Birthday Eugenie!
you've just turned one, and what an amazing year it was. words can never describe everything i have witnessed and what a miracle you have blessed me with. actually, she really saved many of us.
well, i'll have to take my friend jesse's lead (www.xeius.com) and post up her photos at least on a monthly basis.

and how she loves to take baths any time any where! 
the strangest thing about eugenie is that she usually decides to do things suddenly. one day she decided to walk. one day she decided to climb. one day she decided to talk. one day she decided she would be attached to her pink bunny (btw which is no longer pink, ew!) and that which i used to worry about nurturing her individuality and independence... i no longer worry about. see the yogourt on her face? that's because she wanted to feed herself and not have me feed her! the coolest thing is watching her put abstract thoughts together to get an idea. i never showed her to push and use boxes to climb higher objects. but she figured it out on her own and is a climbing monster. as adults, you and i have so much experience and training... i almost feel so stupid sometimes "i should have been able to come up with this idea before". but with eugenie, i see her pull these things out of nowhere! isn't it totally wild? :)
wedding plans are going well. bridezilla's spirit never entered this home. and for the n'th time, our honeymoon is at the indian buffet. all are welcome to witness our love affair with carbohydrates again.
